Fintech's rapid expansion in Vietnam
The emergence of Fintech in Vietnam is not only an inevitable trend but also a fundamental solution to boost the development of Vietnam's financial system, accelerate digital transformation and modernization of the economy, as well as promote the Comprehensive Financial Strategy in line with the Party and State's policies. Moreover, the development of Fintech in Vietnam has also received the attention and support of international organizations and foreign investors.
The Establishment of Dai Nam Fintech Academy
To meet the aforementioned development trend of Fintech, to train and develop a workforce that is sufficient in quantity, assured in quality, and professional in training facilities, Dai Nam University has established the Dai Nam Fintech Academy to organize, implement, and develop training programs; especially realizing the process of training Fintech at Dai Nam University in Vietnamese, spreading the economic, social, and scientific values of financial technology widely.
The Dai Nam Fintech Academy, including the Dai Nam Fintech Innovation and Development Center (DNU-FIDIC) and DNU Fintech Lab, with full investment in facilities, has the ability to cooperate and connect with financial institutions, technology companies, and domestic and foreign enterprises to receive technical, technological, and financial support to meet training requirements with internships, practical experiences, and job security for graduates, as well as scientific research with the very specific characteristics of the Fintech field. Moreover, the Institute will actively connect with other universities in Vietnam and universities abroad, inherit, apply, and promote the results of scientific research and technology in the Fintech training process at the University. The Institute will strive with the spirit of "pioneering the development of Fintech in Vietnam", both helping to enhance the prestige/position of the University and contributing to improving the expertise, enhancing the quality of teaching - learning and scientific research, connecting enterprises - schools of Dai Nam University, in order to contribute to supplementing human resources and developing Fintech in Vietnam.
