FORMAL UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM IN FINANCIAL TECHNOLOGY (FINTECH) – SECOND MAJOR AT DAI NAM UNIVERSITY
In the context of rapid digital transformation reshaping the finance and banking sector, the demand for human resources with strong expertise in both finance and technology has become increasingly urgent. Financial Technology (Fintech) is not only a global trend but also a key driver opening up new opportunities for the younger generation in Vietnam.
In response to this demand, Fintech Academy (FTA) at Dai Nam University is implementing a Financial Technology program offered as a second major for students currently enrolled at the University. This strategic initiative expands academic opportunities while significantly enhancing graduates’ competitiveness in the labor market.
In its initial phase, the program will be available to students from the following three majors:
1. Information Technology: Enabling IT students to strengthen their financial foundations and expand their capacity to develop digital solutions for banking, fintech, and e-commerce sectors.
2. Finance and Banking: Equipping students with advanced technological application skills and data analytics capabilities to meet the growing demands of digitalized financial services.
3. E-commerce and Digital Economy: Providing students in the digital economy with additional knowledge in financial management and fintech, preparing them for modern and innovative business models.
The program is expected to commence student recruitment in the upcoming academic year, offering Dai Nam University students the opportunity to pursue in-depth training in their primary field of study while gaining a solid and strategic foundation in Fintech—one of the key sectors of the digital era.
With thorough preparation in curriculum design, a highly qualified faculty, and modern facilities, Fintech Academy (FTA) is committed to delivering an innovative, practice-oriented, and experience-rich learning environment, empowering students to truly become “global citizens” in the field of Financial Technology.
