The Fintech Development and Innovation Center (DNU-FIDIC) under Fintech Academy (FTA) of Dai Nam University was established with the objective of becoming a leading hub for Fintech training, research, and community engagement in Vietnam.
DNU-FIDIC is committed to nurturing and developing high-quality human resources in the field of Financial Technology, contributing to the digital transformation of the financial sector and related industries.
⚙️ Rationale for establishment
The rapid expansion of Fintech companies in Vietnam over the past decade has created an urgent demand for human resources with integrated competencies in both finance and information technology.
While formal Fintech training programs in Vietnam remain limited, the establishment of DNU-FIDIC serves as a strategic solution by offering short-term, flexible, and practice-oriented training programs aimed at:
• Enhancing professional qualifications for personnel working in finance, banking, and technology sectors;
• Rapidly strengthening the competencies of specialists, lecturers, and managers in the Fintech field;
• Bridging academic knowledge with the practical needs of the financial – technology market.
A 2023 survey indicates that more than 50% of professionals in the finance – banking and information technology sectors identify Fintech as a key driver of digital transformation and express strong demand for practical short-term training programs, providing a solid foundation for the establishment of DNU-FIDIC.

1. Fintech teaching skills training for lecturers viên (ToT – Training of Trainers Model)
“Fintech ToT – Training of Trainers” is a specialized training program implemented by the Fintech Development and Innovation Center (DNU-FIDIC) under the Fintech Academy (FTA), Dai Nam University. The program is designed to enhance knowledge, strengthen professional expertise, and improve pedagogical competencies for lecturers teaching Financial Technology (Fintech).
The program aims to develop a standardized, professional, and internationally oriented Fintech faculty, contributing to the realization of the Fintech Academy’s vision of advancing Fintech education in the Vietnamese language. Through this initiative, FTA seeks to widely disseminate the scientific, economic, and social value of Financial Technology in Vietnam.

Through real-world case studies and representative Fintech models, participants will be exposed to modern Fintech thinking and gain insights into the mechanisms of Fintech product development, delivery, and management. The program also equips learners with a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, professional ethics, and potential risks within the digital financial ecosystem.

The program focuses on enhancing the application of advanced technologies in financial operations through specialized modules such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data Analytics, Blockchain Applications in Finance, Digital Banking and Fintech Risk Management, Digital Business Strategy, and Fintech Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Participants will learn directly from leading domestic and international Fintech experts and engage in simulation exercises, real-world projects, and enterprise case analyses. 🏆 VietChain Talents 2025: Dai Nam University Fintech Academy’s mark on Vietnam’s Blockchain talent landscape

On July 24, 2025, the team representing the Fintech Academy of Dai Nam University (DNU-FTA) officially made its mark at the Semifinal Round of VietChain Talents 2025 with the project “VietEduChain” – a Layer-1 Blockchain platform aimed at driving innovation in Vietnam’s higher education sector. This milestone represents a significant achievement, affirming the progress of FTA students on their journey to mastering modern financial technologies.
🌐 VietChain Talents – A national-level technology arena
VietChain Talents 2025, co-organized by 1Matrix, the Vietnam Blockchain Association, and the Government Cipher Committee, is widely recognized as one of Vietnam’s leading academic competitions for Blockchain talent. After more than two months of launch and development, the competition attracted over 300 ideas from 220 teams, including 138 official submissions from universities, enterprises, and technology organizations nationwide.
Beyond celebrating innovative ideas, the competition serves as a real-world innovation arena, where students are challenged with practical problems in Blockchain, Fintech, data traceability, and digital transformation bridging academic knowledge with real industry demands.
💡 The Dai Nam mark – Where knowledge meets the aspiration for innovation
Entering this national-level arena, the DNU-FTA team carried with them a strong passion for technology and a clear aspiration to innovate Vietnam’s financial sector. Under the guidance of lecturers from the Fintech Academy, students developed the “VietEduChain” project, applying Layer-1 Blockchain technology to the management of educational data with the goal of enhancing transparency, security, and efficiency in the storage and verification of academic records.
Each competition round represented a journey of growth from systems thinking and analytical skills to teamwork and creative problem-solving. Students gained hands-on exposure to core Blockchain technologies, learned how to manage data, ensure information security, and optimize decentralized financial models, while also expanding their professional networks with technology experts, mentors, and financial – banking enterprises.

The spirit of “Practical Learning – Practical application – Practical credentials – Practical careers”, which Dai Nam University consistently upholds, was vividly reflected in each project and idea. Accelerating strategic cooperation between Fintech Academy (DNU-FTA) and the Blockchain & AI technology Institute (ABAII) under the signed MOU
On the afternoon of June 4, 2025, a delegation from the Fintech Academy of Dai Nam University (DNU-FTA), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Ngoc Duc, Director of the Academy, held a working session at the Blockchain & AI Technology Institute (ABAII) to implement cooperation activities under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the two institutions.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Le Linh Luong, Vice Director of ABAII, and focused on discussing and agreeing upon key cooperation programs, including Training of Trainers (ToT) programs in Blockchain and digital assets, student training on the Masterteck platform, development of conferences, scientific research, online courses, and international certification programs. Both sides also agreed to expand cooperation in delivering AI and Blockchain training programs for high school students, as well as for enterprises and credit institutions.
The meeting marked an important milestone in the strategic partnership between DNU-FTA and ABAII, aiming to build a comprehensive education – technology – finance ecosystem and to contribute to the development of high-quality human resources in Fintech, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence in Vietnam.
3. Business – Academia collaboration
🤝 Fintech Academy signs strategic partnerships with nine corporate partners
On May 27, 2025, at Dai Nam University, the Fintech Academy (DNU-FTA) held a ceremony to sign strategic cooperation agreements with nine corporate partners across the fields of Blockchain, Fintech, finance, insurance, banking, and digital technology, marking an important milestone in building a practice-oriented education–industry ecosystem.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thi Thu Giang, President of Dai Nam University, emphasized:“This is not merely a signing ceremony, but a gateway to real-world learning opportunities, innovation, and career development for Dai Nam University students.”
Representing the corporate partners, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hieu (FiinGroup) and Mr. Bui Quoc Khanh (TNTech) highlighted the strong potential for research collaboration, R&D activities, and the development of products powered by Vietnamese innovation.
